Who Is Collagen Lift For?

The great thing is it’s suitable for all skin types and colours. Collagen Lift will tighten, strengthen, contour and tone for a more youthful looking you.

how does microdermabrasion work

Anyone with a need for skin tightening will benefit from this treatment. The treatment can be performed on any skin colour and skin type. Skin usually begins to sag and lose collagen during our late 20’s and every year our body will produce about 1% less collagen.

With Collagen Lift ™ it is no longer necessary to go under the knife to lift, refresh and tighten the skin. Zero down time. Just amazing firm, plump and fresh skin. A course of Collagen Lift treatments is recommended for the best results. Either; one a week for six weeks, or two a week for three weeks.

Determining Your Skin Type

Dry Skin Types

Dry skin is caused by under-active oil glands that do not produce enough sebum to keep the skin naturally hydrated. It may have a dull appearance and feel dry and itchy. Dry skin must be hydrated regularly from the inside (drinking water) and the outside with hydrating creams and lotions.

Oily Skin Type

Oily skin is produced by glands that produce too much sebum, resulting in skin that appears shiny and has some large open pores. Oily skin types are prone to develop blackheads and acne. Oily skin benefits hugely from microdermabrasion. Light moisturisers should be applied afterwards.

Sensitive Skin Types

Sensitive skins can be dry, normal or oily and are characterised by their delicacy. Sensitive skin frequently reacts adversely to environmental conditions and often requires special treatment in order to remain in good condition.

Normal Skin Types

Normal skin produces sebum at a moderate rate, resulting in a balanced state. Normal skin looks consistently plump, moist and vibrant. A great blessing but still requires no less attention.

Combination Skin Types

Combination skin is the most common skin type. Combination skin is frequently characterised by an oily ‘T’ zone area that covers the forehead, nose and chin. While the skin around the cheeks, eyes and mouth is normal to dry.

Mature Skin Types

Mature skin becomes dry as sebaceous glands become less active. Skin loses elasticity and fine lines and wrinkles appear. Skin appears thinner with broken capillaries, especially on the cheek area and around the nose. Blood circulation becomes poor, which interferes with the skin nutrition making skin appear sallow. Mature skin must be kept well hydrated.

Client Testimonial: “I’d tried all sorts of treatments to get rid of my wrinkles and sagging skin particularly on my left cheek. Nothing has ever worked. Microneedling and caci being just 2 of those. When Jo told me of the collagen lift it was a last stop before a face lift. I am amazed at the results, I don’t focus on my wrinkles when I look in the mirror anymore as they aren’t noticeable! Jo has worked wonders on my skin and I will continue to have the treatment as it not only works but it isn’t painful like the others and it’s actually relaxing.”
